We were all sound asleep, I mean, we didn't even know Heron has sneaked in the house.
For once, none of the dogs even barked.
I mean, why should they?
They know Heron, he's the thief in the night that gives them doggie treats.

Good things come to those who thrift
I was sure he'd be gone, but he was still there.
As Badger says, I may have booty booped a small child away from the shelf.
I mean, we didn't get in a tug of war for the doc, she was playing in front of the shelf.

Mornings are ruff when the coffee shop is closed☕ 😭
I had hoped to get a coffee from a new shop, yeah, yeah, I'm slightly addicted.
The plan was for us to walk down to the coffee shop while Cowboy was inside paying.
I can't remember the last time we were at the Courthouse, it's been a good while.
The coffee shop was totally gone, bummer.
I poked and prodded, and forced Badger out of the house for nothing.

"Running on empty and lost in a foggy daze 🌫️"
Some days are nothing days, and today is a nothing day.
I just feel out of sorts, like just out of sorts.

"Counting down the days till the first bloom. ❄️🌼
I gulped some OJ, and went back to sleep.
I assume the Musinex and Vapo rub actually helped.

"ADHD means the 'think before you speak' mechanism is permanently set to 'live broadcast'."
I have ADHD, medically diagnosed since I was a child.
I chatter nonstop, and blab what should not be blabbed.
We will say that most of the day has been taken over to the private blog.

I can't adult today. Please leave a message after the sound of my snoring. 😴📞
He tries to be quiet, but he did wake me up.
Then I started coughing, and coughing, and coughing.
I finally gave up, and took some cold medicine.
I'm not sick, though, it's just this cough.

Winter's paintbrush turns the world white 🎨🌍❄️

"Some people have adventure; I have WiFi and naps." 😆💤
That's a sure fire way of ensuring we won't see a lick of snow.
We are under a winter weather advisory, though.

"Snip, snip! My stylist did it again."
I'm exhausted, but boy, did I enjoy a break away from the house.
We did have off and on rain showers all day, nothing major.
Cowboy's driving was a bit hair-raising, but not as terrible as it sometimes is.
I do wish we lived in a flat state, instead of this curvy, mountainous one we live in, though.

"Is it just me, or are groceries the new luxury items? 🛒💎 #PriceHikes"
I cat napped until he got in, well, I got Raven off to work at 11:44 pm.
I actually got him off at a decent time, went in, dozed off, and something in my brain prodded me awake at 3 am.
I guess the bed was cold, Cowboy is like a furnace.

“A rainy day is nature’s permission slip to binge-watch without guilt.”
It doesn't help any that it is still raining.
Or that the weekend is on us again.
It's not been a good day, and I'll be perfectly honest, I've not left my bed.
I spent the day reading or watching TV.

“Cozying up with a good book on a rainy day.”
It's rained all day long, my yard is mushy.
Badger had her therapy today, she and Cowboy were gone for a while.

"Switching up the scenery: beds and dressers on the move! 🛋️✨"
I remembered the litter boxes needs cleaning tomorrow, normally that is Badger's job.
With the fresh tattoo, she can't expose it to used litter germs.
So, today was move furniture, tomorrow is tackle nine litter boxes.
Oh yeah, it's not a small job, we have a box for each of our cats plus a spare just in case.
Even using a stool to sit on, it kills my back to clean those boxes.

“Ink is my therapy.”
Peacock and Gealach had popped up.
It was nearly 9 am, and Peacock is used to Mamma being awake by 8 am.
He's not lived here in a long time, and doesn't realize that I've taken to sleeping in, especially when the opportunity rises on the weekend.
Weekends, we're usually screamed awake around 5 am-6 am-this weekend, the house was nicely quiet.

Birthday gratitude: Overflowing with love and joy. 🎂❤️"
It was very warm, a bit windy, but when isn't it?
Traffic wasn't terrible, it's not yet prime tourist season.

"Accidentally stumbled into Friday like... 'Oh hey, weekend!' 😲🕺"
I spent the day, well, not even knowing what day it was.
It wasn't until after Raven went on a booty call, that I realized it was Friday.
I guess, in my defense, as Badger says, the house is quite-no kids, the cats, and dogs are roaming free, and she's doing laundry.

"Embrace the storm with caution. Safety first, always. #TornadoWarning" 🌪️⛈️
For the first time I remember, my weather radio went off, my phone went off, and they said take cover now!
I got Heron out of his RV, woke Raven up out of a sound sleep, Badger threw the cats in the laundry room and the dogs in the bedroom, and we waited.

"Batten down the hatches—flu season has arrived!"
He took himself to the walk in clinic this morning, mostly because he needed a note for work.
They did test him for Covid, Flu and Strep-all those were negative, so maybe a 24-hour virus.
The littles will not be down this weekend, the other parent, and I think like four of the six littles are sick.
Supposedly Flu A, Strep & Norovirus-all together.

"In a world of uncertainty, caution is your best companion."
Cowboy may be a bit paranoid, but he says to watch what you say, watch what you put on social media.
Mouth shut-eyes open.
I'm trying.

"February is the month when nature starts to play tricks on us, making us believe spring is just around the corner while winter keeps holding on." – Unknown
Usually I try to be productive while they're gone, do the bills, and catch up on laundry, and such.
Today, I chose to just be lazy.
I finally finished up that book I've been on for a week or two, it was pretty much a medical text book with a few interesting patient case studies mixed in.
