What can I say?
We went to Walmart for quick dinners I can throw together.
Badger’s down and out.
We bought groceries Thursday, but the menu’s in her head, and I’ve got no clue what to cook.
I caught up on laundry.
There’s always laundry, even if I did it Friday.
The day moved on.
Cowboy headed to work.
Badger bought me a new bedding set, yes, I did pay her back.
Have you seen how expensive a king-size bedding set is?!
They delivered it today.
It’s a bit off, the color isn’t what the website made it look like.
However, I’m not very Martha Stewart-y.
Nothing in this house matches, and it goes reasonably well with navy curtains.
I mean, my wall is literal barn material.
Cowboy got tired of the normal wood paneling and put this odd stuff on the wall.
You get splinters every time your hand brushes against it.
All I can figure, besides avoiding yearly paint jobs, is that when Cowboy was growing up, wood paneling was the height of style.
He wasted no time putting it on our walls once the ink dried and the house was ours.
I will admit, it has stood up to nine kids better than most things.
Anyway, I got the bedding set washed.
I don’t care if it came straight from the factory, it was getting a dose of Tide before I slept on it.
Badger spent most of the day in her room, which is nothing unusual.
She has been a little friendlier lately, though therapy is tomorrow.
Heron is at E’s overnight.
I had to drag Badger, kicking and screaming, down to put up his cats.
Neither of us wants to go in that RV alone.
I don’t see how Heron lives in it.
It’s just downright creepy.
Lamont the stray was in the garden.
He is very sick.
I do not think it is rabies, though in a cat that is hard to tell.
But he has been sick since at least October, so he would be gone by now if it had been.
I hate to do it, but I will call animal control in the morning, not that they will be able to catch him.
I will not allow him to suffer like Tom Hanks and Binx.
You can tell that cat is miserable, and he has lost so much weight.
He has been hanging around since he was a kitten, and I hate that I will be betraying him.
I think I’ll head to bed.
I’m trying to finish a book, but it’s a bit boring.
