Badger's lunch today was almost Halloween themed.
Almost.
She thought it was the coolest thing, although she said she got a few comments & funny looks at lunch.
I've always tried to find the kookiest, weirdest food I can at Halloween for the kids.
I think my kids almost like Halloween better than they do Christmas.

A Nurse Is An Angel In Comfy Shoes
I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed: Raven had a job interview today.
Cowboy's plant is hiring a cooker—not like at a restaurant, more like a gut-and-blood cooker—so he told Raven to get down there and apply.
Now, I’m a little doubtful they’ll hire Raven because of his age and lack of experience, but they know Cowboy is a good worker, so maybe that’ll lean them a little more toward Raven.
If they don’t hire him, he’s still waiting on word from the temp agency, and he has applications all over, so maybe someone will hire him.

Everyone who ever walked barefoot into his child's room late at night hates Legos
It poured down rain all day long.
It was fairly warm, in the '50s (10 °c), but the dampness made it seem a lot cooler.
Needless to say, no one did anything.
After morning service, Cowboy curled up for a nap and the rest of us watched TV all day.
I also got a few books read on the Kindle.
Badger has discovered it will read to you & she begs to have it read to her.
I found a book of fairy tales and I let it read to her before bed.
