I'm sitting here, I'm attempting to exert enough energy to write.
My main goal is to write down important details so that my brain can remember what happened when.

Oh, weather, why are you so cold?
Cold and windy, that's the word for today.
We got our groceries in, stopped at Taco Bell, and made it home at 1:30 pm.
That did not leave Cowboy very much time to take care of the chickens and eat dinner before having to go to work.

My life is like watching paint dry
I think the time change has messed up my wake-up schedule; I'm awake nearly every day at 6:30 am now.
If you think about it, that would be 7:30 am daylight savings time, though.
I don't always crawl out of my warm bed, especially now that the mornings are getting colder.
I am up before 8 am most mornings, though, which isn't terrible, but some nights I read until 1 am.

"This day is moving at the speed of a snail on vacation." π
Badger still isn't feeling well, so she's in her room.
Cowboy, of course, works; Raven is asleep; he's third shift, so he'll be heading to work after midnight.
Heron is still at E's house.

The laundry is looking at me dirty again…
I got Turtle out to potty with no problems; I had her on a leash.
I took her back inside, and brought Lady outside.
We never put a leash on Lady; Heron has trained her to stay in her own yard very well.
Usually.
We get to the edge of Heron's RV, and all of a sudden, Lady just takes off down the hill like a flash of lightning.

Autumn’s last dance begins with November ππ
I called the exterminator a week or maybe two weeks ago and set up an appointment for today at 10 a.m.
When I called him, he did sound half asleep, and he is easily around Cowboy's age, so late 60s.

Badger and I woke up before the chickens, and we had the house cleared out, the dogs, and cats outside, you know, —everything was ready for the man.
