Linking to a fellow blogger navigating health challenges

Town Day again.
Badger hates when I say that, but we do go to town, so there.

We stopped at the thrift store.
Badger will only wear shorts below the knees, and we’re having a terrible time finding those new.
I think she found one pair here.
She was digging through their craft supplies when she turned around and said, “Hey, there’s a unicorn holding Froot Loops.”
I looked, and sure enough, there he was.
Badger Googled him when she got him home.
His name is Richard, and apparently he’s a Zuru Snacker, whatever that means.

Richie was supposed to go to Vier, but Badger tossed him in the wash.
He came out soft and fluffy and now he’s hanging out with my plague doctors.
Honestly, he was too cute to let go.

Cowboy got his glasses today.
Badger’s glasses haven’t come in.
They told me to wait until all three were ready to pick up, but Cowboy refused to wait.
All I can think is Badger got transition lenses and Cowboy didn’t, so maybe that takes more time.

Badger woke up early and threw spaghetti in the crockpot.
Cowboy fussed, but we came home to a real meal instead of greasy fast food.
I appreciated it.

The day was going along like any other, and then a quick storm blew through this afternoon.
It’s just that time of year.

Badger and I took a walk just before sunset.
There was no ride back from Heron.
He got home at 9 p.m. today.
I don’t know if he was working, fishing, or at the gym.

One day when I was looking for fellow Tennessee bloggers, I stumbled on lonewolfconcerto.
His blog is fascinating.
He’s dealing with some health problems right now, so sometimes I send him a card and hope it helps a little.
If you want something worth reading, go take a look.

No plans for the weekend.
Rumor is the plant will be working straight through, but ninety‑nine percent of the time Cowboy stays home, waits on that phone, and they never call.

I guess I need to head to bed.
