Leaves are falling. Autumn is calling

It was a Fall like day today
I guess it's only fitting seeing that it is October tomorrow
It's kind of dark and gloomy and chilly
It's a good day to curl up with movies and hot chocolate

Heron worked today
He said that even though the maze is closed to the public, the construction guys have to be there
They're really working them hard

He said that it's nothing like at the stadium
I guess in between selling food they got to stand/sit around a lot & the maze they don't do that
I think he worked 12 hours Saturday and 10 Sunday
That's a good paycheck, at least

We had a bit of excitement this evening
Rocky & Cap chased poor Gomez up into a tree, and dang if Cap wasn't trying his best to climb the tree to get at him
He was just a jumping on that tree
We crated their butts and then Badger had to climb on the shed to drag Gomez out of the tree
Gomez is 6 years old and only has 3 legs-he went up fairly well, but he sure couldn't come back down
He was OK, just scared to death
Badger said, “I guess I'm a fireman now”
I didn't bother breaking it to her that it's a myth that firemen rescue stuck cats
We are going to have to be more serious about training these two not to chase my cats
Cap is big enough to do serious harm

OK, off of here to go and find a movie & get that hot chocolate started
