” That feeling when you’re not necessarily sad, but you just feel really empty.”

I'm depressed.
I'm not down in the dumps, I'm not blue, I'm not a little sad-I'm depressed.

It will pass, it always does, but right now, life is pretty gray for me.

We had rain showers until around 11 am, which seemed somewhat appropriate then the sun came out, and it was actually warm!
It's been a while since we've not had to turn on the heat.

Cowboy got out back and put in the first pole for the she shed, he was going out for more wood, yes more wood, but Heron didn't come up this morning.

At this point, Badger and I are wondering just exactly what he is building, I mean he bought two loads of wood Sunday and still needs more.

I keep calling it a she-shed, but really all it is supposed to be is a very basic, very simple, detached covered floorless patio.
You know, 4 poles, a roof, a place to sit without broiling in the sun.

I'm not sure what he has in mind, though.

Heron did show up around 6 pm, he brought gifts-an energy drink for me &  Badger.
I love Monster Coffee drinks, it was really thoughtful of him.
He mowed, weed-whacked, and pulled the weeds from my flower bed.
As Badger says, I deal with depression by moving furniture and cleaning-Heron deals with it by cleaning up a yard.
He said he'd be back tomorrow, so his daddy can get more wood.

Badger and I did get a little walk in

We also got to sit under my poor tent, one more really bad storm and that thing is a total goner.

Tennessee is essentially opened back up, the only restriction now is on hair and nail and tattoo salons and bars, a few more things I didn't really pay attention.

As is usual for the governor, he is not enforcing it, he's just strongly suggesting it.

The high school that Badger should have graduated from has announced their graduation plans, a lot of people are complaining, but at least they're getting something.

The students will be called to the school one by one and videotaped walking across the stage and receiving their diploma, those individual tapes will then be edited together to look like one cohesive ceremony.

On the day graduation should have been, all the students and their families are to meet at the middle school they attended before high school.
And in parade formation, they're to meet at the high school for two victory laps around the high school.

Had Badger been graduating, I would have been very happy with the plan, but you can't please everyone.

There are high schools that will have graduation ceremonies, the only concession being they're not held inside, so they're just going to have them on the football field and encourage the six feet apart deal.

People simply are not taking this virus seriously, it does not matter how people have died, how many are still going to die, people will not take the virus seriously.
