I am still a little off, but I'm better than I was yesterday.
Honestly, I don't know what it was.
I was dizzy, but it was not one of my typical bouts of vertigo.
I had hot and cold chills.
My blood pressure shot down, my body temperature was low.
I was so sleepy, and it just hit out of the blue, bam!
I did the responsible thing and got a doctor’s appointment for today, but Cowboy didn't get home from work until 3 a.m. this morning.
There was absolutely no way I was letting that man loose on the freeway on three hours of sleep.
I don't have a death wish, so I canceled.
As I said, I'm better, just not 100% yet.
Big brag on Badger: she got bored, she wouldn't leave me or go very far from me, so going out for a walk or to sit on the she -shed apparently was out.
She thoroughly cleaned my house.
I kid you not, she spit-shined this place and cooked dinner yesterday and today.
I really appreciate it, and it makes my recovery time easier.
Naturally, today was spent taking it easy.
Cowboy and Badger slept most of the day.
Badger would not go to sleep until her dad got home.
I doubt she went to sleep anytime soon after that, so I let her sleep in.
I had a clean house thanks to her and nothing to do, so I watched a lot of TV.
We did get a message from Peacock around 8-ish.
He's moving back in until he gets the money for the new apartment.
He only has 10 days to come up with the money before they lose the apartment though.
Badger and I quickly moved Duff's crate to the living room and my chair back to the yard.
We cleaned out a place in the laundry room, then moved my thrift store stash and the high chair back in there to give him room for his stuff.
He came in, dumped his stuff in my living room, took a shower, and went to bed.
Hey, I give him a pass as he goes to work at 5 in the morning.
I'm hoping he gets a fire lit under him tomorrow and at least moves this stuff out of my living room.He said all of their clothing needs to be washed.
He swears the trailer was moldy, so that is my job tomorrow.
He didn't ask, but I don't want him breaking my washer, so I'll do it.
It started pouring down rain, so I stepped out on the porch to see if any of our outside cats wanted in for the night, and I'd almost swear I stepped on a possum’s tail.
He scared the daylights out of me.
Poor little critter.
I'm glad my possums are back.
They're beneficial, unlike raccoons, who are destructive.
I haven't seen any signs of raccoons, so that is good.
