From the Ring, I think I may be feeding up to four cats now.
Where they come from, I don't know.
If I had my way, and had the money, I'd buy a farm, and start collecting strays.
I'd have to have some source of income, though.
If nothing else, they'd all have to have a rabies vaccine.
I feel better if everything that touches my lawn has that, not that they do currently.
We did not put Fox up last night, so I was up at the crack of dawn again.
If I were younger and had more energy, I think I could accomplish a lot.
As it is, being in my fifties, dealing with post-covid syndrome, I'm content to glare at the mess, tell my brain to hush when it comes up with what we should be doing, and just enjoy my lazy, quiet mornings.
I do miss my energy.
It was well after 10 a.m. when Cowboy and Badger woke up.
Cowboy quickly ate his breakfast, and we headed over to Sevierville.
We're supposed to have Gealach next weekend, with Tennessee one never knows what weather one will wake up to.
Usually, she comes up in a dress, or shorts, and it's cold, she's cold, and we're in trouble 'cause I don't have clothes here for her anymore.
My goal was to find her some leggings, and a table for her lamp.
The traffic was terrible!
This time of year, everyone heads to the mountain for the festivals, and Dollywood, and traffic is a nightmare.
We inched along, Cowboy wasn't impatient, for once.
We stopped at KARM first, I don't know why I bothered.
KARM is so expensive, it is not a thrift store, they want retail price for worn out goods.
They aren't trashy, they're very upscale, boutique-like, but they're still selling old goods at new prices.
The same thing they sell for like $60 you can go down the road to the Goodwill and buy for $10.
Goodwill was our next stop, I can afford Goodwill prices.
They just didn't have the sizes Badger or Gealach needed, I came out with one long-sleeve shirt for Gealach.
Leggings aren't really that expensive at Walmart, I may just get her a pair next time we're there.
They did have, it looked like a daycare shut down, so they had all of their shelves.
I walked out with a $15 shelf for Gealach's room, with Cowboy fussing all the way.
Badger and I told him to hush up, we gave Peacock every blinking shelf I owned because he said the brewery desperately needed shelving.
Cowboy barely shoved it in the trunk, and we had to listen to this long, drawn-out, beeeeep all the way home.
The trunk likes to scream when it's left open.
That was a long ride home.
Once we got it home, Badger decided to do a swap with me.
She gave me her brown shelf, and took my white shelf.

It looks like it was made for her room, we've been saying that we were going to get her a white shelf and move the brown shelf somewhere else since she painted in there.
It was just a stroke of luck that we found this one, although I was buying it for Gealach.
The brown shelf is happy in Gealach's room.
It holds what it has to.
We ate lunch, and Cowboy settled down to take a nap.
He didn't snort awake until 6 p.m.
He sounds horrible, all stopped up, and he gargles and chokes in his sleep.
He refuses to see a doctor, I can see his point, they never do anything but push drugs or shove you off on someone else.
Badger was in her room, Heron was at work, I was all by my lonesome.
I enjoyed it.
I blogged, and read, and decided I'd better watch those elves before Heron loses his Amazon Prime.
He's added me to his account so that I can watch, I'm not sure what I'm watching.
Prehistoric Middle Earth, the Elves before The Hobbit.
Whatever it is, it's entertaining, and it kills time.
She takes a corn muffin mix, and doctors it up, and oh my goodness it's good.
Heron and E. are taking an anniversary trip to one of the Carolinas tomorrow, they've been together three-four years.
We get Lady overnight.
Cowboy said they're crazy, going right after a hurricane went through.
If it's North Carolina, they'll be fine.
I'm getting off of here.
