The swimming pool is officially closed, and the tent is down.
Cowboy dismantled it this morning.
We're trying to figure out somewhere to store the pool, it's sat in the middle of the yard for three years, I think, and Cowboy is over that.
It's inconveniently in the way.
The yard and the road are covered in dried, brown leaves already & those nasty aphids are increasing daily.
It starts to get dark by 8:30 pm, that I hate the most.
I am not ready for the summer to come to an end.
Considering the current temperatures, I am aware that we are still in the midst of it, but it is quickly approaching its conclusion.
Needless to say, we've stayed in the cool house and haven't ventured out.
As long as there is a Kindle, computer & television, we're alright.
I did call, set up an appointment for Badger to make a knife in PF.
That's what she wants to do for her birthday, then we'll walk around the Island, and find something to eat.
I hope she has an appointment.
I called at like 11 am, and at 2 pm the place called me, said they had a missed call from me, and to call back.
I will call the Friday before we're to go, and confirm we have an appointment.
Raven has a job-I hope.
He goes for orientation, so it sounds like he's hired.
Heron left for work at 8 am-it's nearly 9 pm & I've not seen him.
I am hoping this is a double shift day.
He says that he is going to move back in his RV.
The floor is spongy, it smells like mildew, and the toilet isn't working-but he's 28 years old, and sleeping on Mamma's couch probably isn't his favorite thing to do.
Plus, when Raven's littles come down, he has to abandon the couch.
I am going to miss my couch dweller, I've gotten used to him being around again.
Darn grown kids.
I think I'll get off of here, tomorrow is town day & then Friday Badger has set up a Marketplace meet up at the Target.
A busy few days.
Raven said the littles won't be down this weekend, so unless it's like Sunday, I don't have to do any major clean up any time soon.
I can be my usual lazy self.
