Badger had therapy, so we had to head to town this morning.
She had Badger send her family physician a note to have him prescribe ADHD meds.
We came home, and Badger quickly threw together tacos.
We had the meat thawing since yesterday, so it had to be used today.
We ate dinner, and Cowboy headed to work.
I said to heck with it and went in to take a nap.
When I woke up, Raven and Badger were also asleep.
Raven worked all night, and I don't think Badger went to bed until at least 3 am.
Every time I woke up, she was still in the kitchen cleaning.
I can't say today was overly exciting.
Do we ever have exciting days?
Tomorrow starts October, and all those medical appointments, ugh.
I want just one drama free, medically boring October.
No biopsies, not freaking out, just wham bam you're fine until next year.
Fingers crossed.
Heron is still in Newport, at his girlfriend's.
Worries me to death.
I don't know the condition up there.
I mean, I know parts of it are very bad.
I just don't know what part he is in.
We had a bit of rain here today.
Nothing major.
Rain is now a worry when Heron is in Newport.
He'll be home tomorrow, he said.
Pete Rose died today.
They say death comes in threes.
Maggie Smith, Kris Kristofferson, and now Pete Rose.
We're going to the graveside service for Side Deck Neighbor tomorrow.
I miss her, weird as it sounds.
Again, we were not buddy buddies, but she's always been there.
We lost Blue House Neighbor in February, again not buddy buddies, but he was always there, also.
The neighborhood I knew is changing.
The old ones are dying.
Well, that's life, isn't it?

Neighborhoods go through transitions every generation. It's good to bring new life into old neighborhoods! I like your header graphic. Looks cozy with a beautiful view outside the window!
Jeanette: I'm glad you like the header graphic. I thought it felt like October. She does seem very cozy 😊
I think that I have reached the age now where I am one of the old ladies of the neighborhood. The new people moving in are young with children. They sure are bringing new life in. Seems only yesterday I was one of those young ones with tiny children moving in.
