Coffee first. Tuesday challenges second

Sunday, I got a text from CVS that Cowboy's medication was ready for pickup.
I went to the CVS patient portal, where all his meds are listed.
This was an antipsychotic medication-and definitely not Cowboy's.
I canceled the prescription and forgot about it.

Yesterday, before he left for work, Cowboy wanted to know if I had called CVS.
He was worried his identity had been stolen.
I was not in the mood to deal with CVS and their new answering machine mess, so I put it off until today.

I called corporate CVS-no answering machines-who told me not to worry about it.
Sometimes the wrong patient gets entered into the wrong portal.
OK-but with Cowboy's exact name and birthdate?

Cowboy insisted on calling the police, who told us they couldn't do anything unless our money started disappearing from our bank.

Well, apparently corporate called Houston CVS, and they called me.
They said it's rare, but it has happened before.
On November 22, 1959-two little boys were born: one in Texas, one in Georgia.
And their mammas gave them the exact same name-first, middle, and last.
So now, there are two Cowboys in this world with the same birthdate: one in Tennessee, one in Texas.

We'll still keep an eye on our bank account.

Badger said, well, Daddy is a boomer-and he's got the name of a really popular movie cowboy-so maybe it's not really all that odd.
I still think something about it feels off.

Now, there is a country singer with Cowboy's name-but his middle name is different, and he was born in '54.

When salesmen hear what Cowboy's name is, they always say-depending on their age-“Oh, like the cowboy,” or “Oh, like the singer.”

Side note: Raven got pulled over today for a busted taillight.
The cop said his registration had the wrong name-Raven Roof Jones.
Raven’s actual name is Raven Cowboy Jones.
He went to the DMV, and sure enough, his registration was correct.
He’s not sure what the cop was looking at, but hey-no ticket.

After Cowboy went to work, Badger and I watched a movie until it cooled off outside.
We finally got to sit at the Methodist creek, and she took her pictures.
While we were there, we heard a loud, low rumble.
I didn’t feel anything-my feet were on the ground-but Badger said it shifted a little.
The town Facebook page lit up, so it wasn’t thunder or the train.
We’re guessing it was either the mines or a quake.
I hate when it happens, and it’s getting more frequent.

We got home, and the evening went on the usual way.

We got home, and the evening went on the usual way-TV time., computer time, nothing out of the ordinary.

Later, Badger went out and took a picture of the moon.
It doesn’t look any different to us, though.

My phone card’s due tomorrow-Straight Talk changed the date without telling me.
We’ll go to town tomorrow for that, then again Thursday when the paycheck hits and we can get groceries.
