Just another day in the land of meh

Pretty sure it’s Wednesday.
The days blur together, one after another.
Dull.
Boring.
Meh. 😒

The highlight of the day, if you can call it that, was a walk with Badger.
We started toward the Senior Citizen Center but had only reached the gated lot when I looked up and saw a couple walking.
They were new to the neighborhood, and the growling beagle was trotting at their side.
From the look on their faces, they weren’t any more thrilled with the beagle than I am.
At least he wasn’t snarling and trying to bite their butts like he does with me.

We had planned on going the full circle, but with the snarling beagle loose, that plan ended.
We started back home when a car came zipping down the road.
It stopped and pulled over.
Thank goodness it was Heron, and you had better believe I jumped in his back seat, pulling Badger in with me.
I wasn’t in the mood to have to outrun a beagle today.

Heron laughed at me, but then he realized we have two beagles in our neighborhood.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. 
One good, one evil.

Other than that, the day was nothing special.
Just meh.
