We woke up to an unexpected storm; even the meteorologist was surprised.
Thunder rumbled nearly all morning.

As Cowboy had to work a regular shift today, we had a slow, boring day.
Cowboy woke up, took care of his chickens—he did buy chicks at Rural King; I just don't know how he snuck them in—took a nap, ate dinner, and headed to work.
Badger and I stayed in today.
She was in her room most of the time, although she did go outside for a while.
I occupied myself reading, watching TV, and playing on the computer—the usual.
Sometimes, hibernating bear days aren't so bad.
Sometimes days are just ordinary.
We don’t go out, we don’t do much of anything, and my posts are a bit short—not the usual chatty Jane.
