Today was Homecoming at Cowboy’s church.
I expected him to be gone most of the day; he usually stays late for events like this.
But he was back by 1 p.m.
I’m guessing he left before the meal or just didn’t eat much.
Cowboy rested until about 4:30 p.m., then headed to the lake to fish. Heron joined him, and they didn’t get back until 9 p.m.
He grumbled about only catching one fish, but I suspect he was happier just being out by the lake.
With Cowboy gone, it was just Badger and me at home.
She spent most of the time in her room, while I rotated between watching TV, reading, and playing on the computer.
It was a nice, quiet, peaceful Sunday.
