Construction is still going on, but we got smart and left early.
Everything is fine.
Badger still has gastroesophageal reflux disease, but the redness and irritation is considerably improved.
She is lactose intolerant, so she needs to avoid milk and milk products.
It was a waste of time, but it had to be done.
Cowboy’s blood test in May for a prostate issue was abnormal, so he had a follow-up blood test today.
We hadn’t even pulled out of the parking lot before they emailed me to call them.
I can’t access the patient portal on my phone, so we had to wait until we got home and I could get on the computer.
His numbers are increasing, and they want him to see a urologist.
That worries me.
I don’t fully understand this test, but an increase in numbers could indicate prostate cancer, so that’s another worry.
After the two doctor visits, we went to Walmart.
We’re going camping on Wednesday and needed to get our supplies. We also needed a new tent.
Cowboy said the neighborhood cats had peed on our old tent, and he wasn’t going to smell cat pee for two nights.
I'm really not sure how this will work out.
He's down in his back again and can't even bend over.
Sleeping on the hard ground in a low tent is going to be interesting.
He took a nap when he got back, slept until it cooled down outside, and then went out to work on the bikes.
We do not rough camp.
We civilize camp.
We stay at a campground.
He’s found it’s easier to bike to the bathrooms than it is to walk.
I prefer to walk.
His bike is only used once a year.
Badger, of course, messed up her bike when she wrecked, so he had to do some work on them.
We had to make another quick trip to Walmart.
He had to replace the brakes on his bike, and while he was there, he bought a solar light.
I assume he’ll use it at the campground instead of the old lanterns we used.
He came home and baked Badger’s birthday cake plus two pies.
Then he went outside, and I didn’t see him until late.
I've got no clue what he got into.
I stayed busy inside, trying to pack and get everything ready.
I’m getting off of here and I hope to wake up early enough to do a bit of decluttering.
Gealach insulted my housekeeping, and I’ll admit that over the winter, with having to take care of Raven’s boys so much, the house has got cluttered.
When we get back, because I need the storage boxes for our camping gear, I’ll tackle the backroom clutter.
My blanket bags didn’t survive, and I have blankets sprouting out everywhere
I’ll transfer them over to the storage boxes.
But that’s for when we get back because the storage boxes are needed right now.
