“Oh bed! Oh bed! Delicious bed: That heaven upon earth to the weary head.”

Cowboy worked a 24-hour shift, he left for work at 3:30 pm which even with traffic, and changing out of his street uniform into a work uniform, we'll say he clocked in at 4 pm.
He walked back in our door at 4:54 am.
He and Badger slept until 11 am, I had a quiet morning, I still feel off.

Cowboy and Badger think I may have Covid-19 again, my symptoms line up with the new variant.
I think, however, that I may have drank bad juice.
I'm terrible about not checking dates, and leaving food and drink in the fridge longer than I should.
I also hate to waste, I really do.
I've been trying to finish up some liquid coffee creamer that went out of date in June, it was a little well let's just say it beaded up in my coffee.
I gritted my teeth, and put it in the slop bucket for the chickens this morning-I also tossed out some juice that may have expired in May.
Look, I grew up poor, Cowboy and I were dirt poor the first decade of our marriage, I have a hard time throwing out things.
Manufactures do not cater to single people, anything you buy is more of a family size, and I'm usually the only one using an item, so it doesn't get used up fast.
OK, coffee creamer does come in a small size, but I need more of an in between tiny and large size.

Anyway, Finis needed medication, and he was broke, so we loaded up and headed to town to buy Finis his medication.
The cost isn't that bad, he's on state insurance like Badger, meds are typically fairly cheap.

While we were in town, Badger and I quickly, or as quickly as one can on a Friday, ran into Food City to get dog food.
Duffy was scraping the bottom of the barrel.
They did not carry his specialty food, but hopefully lamb is more hypoallergenic.
Oh, yeah, we have a pescetarian dog.
Chicken and beef breaks his paws out, and makes him itch.
The only thing we've found he can tolerate is fish.

We left at 11:30 am and made it back at 1 pm.
Cowboy quickly fed the chickens, while Badger started dinner.
Luckily, we still had a ton of meatballs where Cowboy didn't eat yesterday, so she just made spaghetti and meatballs.

While they were doing that, I went in the bedroom to let Lady and Duffy out, we lock them up while we were gone.
Duffy is alright, but there is a risk that Heron may let him out of the house, and he's still a runner.
Lady is destructive.
Most of the time she's alright, but there is always that one time you think she'll be fine, and she eats an entire bag of dog treats, or she gets in the trash and eats a tin can.

So, I go in, the room stinks, it reeks!
I get to looking around, and one of the nasty animals left a little gift on the cot.
Both of those dogs had been taken outside before we left, they had no excuse to be using the bathroom inside.
And what kind of dog poops on a bed, there is a whole wide floor open.
So, today was bedding wash up day.
Yay.

Needless to say, the day passed by fast enough.
Cowboy and Heron were heading to work before we turned around twice.

Badger and I laid in bed, watched TV most of the evening.
I still do not feel like moving, and usually Badger stays right with me.

Whatever this is needs to be gone by tomorrow, tomorrow is tattoo day, and then buy grocery day.

Oh, tattoo-Badger asked the fellow to change it up a bit, get rid of those flowers.
Going through all the work he's posted for the last month, it looks like he's just learned to do flowers, and is putting flowers on everyone.
Seriously-you got a snake? Let's put a flower under its fangs. You got a car? Hey, a flower would look amazing by the wheel. Oh, hey, that Jack O'Lantern really needs a flower by its stem to jazz it up.
Yeah, Badger doesn't do flowers.
She asked for a leaf, and a spider web.
I mean, it is a Halloween themed tattoo, no one wants a generic, slightly daisy looking flower stuck to the punkin stem.

But I am going to get off of here, I have a terrible mess.
My old external hard drive is failing, it has to be at least sixteen years old, if not older.
Badger's entire life is on that hard drive.
So, I have a new hard drive, but I need to transfer something like a blue million pictures over.
It's not going easy or fast because the old hard drive is not wanting to give me those pictures.
