The world is tired; the year is old, and the faded leaves are glad to die

I woke up at 6:30 am to go to the bathroom, the house was cold as ice, so I wobbled back to bed.
Badger's alarm woke me up at 8:30 am.
Do you know what it is like to be yanked out of a sound sleep by The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly?
It's effective, but not pleasant.
So far, though, that is the only alarm sound that will wake her and Cowboy up.

Today was Iron Day, she was still having difficulty swallowing the pill, so I sent her doctor a note.
He answered back rather quickly that he called her in a liquid version, we'll pick that up on Thursday.
There are only two problems, the pill is already combined with Vitamin C-the liquid is not.
She'll have to drink OJ with it, and her GERD does not handle citrus well.
He said it will stain her teeth, so she'll have to brush, brush, brush, and we're already having trouble with that.

She settled back on the futon for a little nap.

I took Duffy out to pee, it was gorgeous out!
So cold, but the frost was heavy, it looked like it had snowed.

I quickly took my stray some food out, but mixed up the dog food and the cat food.
I doubt if he got breakfast this morning, he's a snooty little thing.

Then I just played on the computer for a bit.

Heron popped up at 11 am to get a cup of coffee.
I asked him if he'd please clean up the mess I made in the yard.
I put scraps out from Thanksgiving thinking something would eat it.
No, nothing touched it, not even snooty stray-and it was meat!
I told him not to use bare hands just in case something did touch it, and darn if he didn't use bare hands.
He and Cowboy likes to disregard rabies and raccoon worms too much for my comfort.

It was almost 12-noon-before Cowboy crawled out.
I mean, by the time he showers, he gets to bed at 4 am, so he's getting eight hours sleep.
But, he's really not handling this shift.

After he ate, Cowboy played on his phone, took a little cat nap, and finally went out to take care of the chickens.

Badger disappeared into her room, I just stayed on the computer, there isn't anything else to do.

Dinner today was whatever you can find, although I did microwave Cowboy some stew up.

The day passed very fast, with Cowboy sleeping so late, it does that more often than not.

He and Heron were heading to work before we knew it.

We watched TV until 4 pm, then took a fast walk down to the Methodist Church.
We were going down to the creek, however, a vehicle was parked nearby
We just came back home, it was too cold for me anyway.

The rest of the evening was watching TV, and playing on our electronics.

Hibernating season is upon us, we don't really go out much when it's cold.

Tomorrow is Cowboy's last day of work for this week.

Thursday is Badger's dentist appointment, so we'll have to do our shopping on Friday.

I hate shopping on Friday.

Other than that, I don't think we have any other plans.
