Their Walmart is better stocked than ours, although we still couldn't find a few things.
We stopped at a local deli in Jefferson City for lunch.
Then we went to Food City to pick up the items we couldn't find at Walmart.
We were home at 1:30 p.m.
Our neighbor behind the mailboxes sent me a text while I was out.
She wanted me to pick up a package for her, as they are out of town until the weekend.
I picked it up and brought it in my house once we got home.
Then we ate lunch and watched a movie.
At least Badger and I did; Cowboy didn't have very much time to do anything.
After Cowboy went to work, Heron and E. came up.
E wished me a Happy Mother's Day.
I tossed her a mini ice cream cup.
She enjoyed sitting and trying to play with my zoo.
My cats aren't all that friendly.
Once they left, Badger and I took the dogs out to potty.
Side Deck Neighbor's kitten has taken to sleeping in a roll of screening Cowboy has up on his shed roof.
At least he's safe up there, provided that he doesn't roll off in his sleep.
We watched a movie until 5 p.m., when we went walking.
Those Methodists are the mowing-est people I've ever seen.
They were mowing again today.
Well, we almost got two miles in today, even though we didn't get to sit by the creek.
We came home the cemetery way.
Today must be Groundhog Thursday.
We ran into quite a few of the critters.
None hissed at Badger this time, though, so that's always good.
By the time we got home, Badger had a headache and was super cranky.
She lay down and took a very long nap.
I did some laundry, read some of my book, watched a bit of TV, checked out social media, and blogged some.
Tried to stay busy.
I'm getting off of here; I'd like to get that book finished soon.
