"Lost an hour, gained a time warp. Is it just me, or is time running its own marathon? 🕰️✨ #DaylightSavings #TimeFlies"

The trees are trying to kill me.
I’ve been sneezing all day.
My eyes are weepy, blurry, and itchy.
I take an antihistamine for my hives.
You’d think it would help.
Apparently, it does not.

We got to town and got our prescriptions.
Holy cow!
Cowboy had four prescriptions, Badger had one, and it was $120 after the insurance paid on them.
I’m not sure if Blue Cross is any better than Anthem was.
We did have a health savings account with Anthem and did not have to pay out of pocket.
Now we pay out of pocket.
Neither insurance plan covers my thyroid medication, and those things are not cheap.

We had a late start, and it takes a while to get to town and back.
So we stopped at Food City and grabbed a deli rotisserie chicken for dinner.

By the time we got home, Cowboy fed the chickens, and Badger and I got dinner ready.
The first month of the time change always feels like time is in hyperdrive.
Cowboy was heading to work before we even realized it.

We waited for the school traffic to die down.
Badger grabbed her camera, and we headed out.
I’m enjoying being able to walk again.
She got some pictures at the cemetery and down by the creek.
When she doesn’t have her camera, we see every critter in the county.
She carries it, and suddenly nothing shows up.
Even the birds weren’t cooperating today.

We came home, and Badger disappeared into her room.
I think she may have taken a nap.

I had a book I was determined to finish.
I curled up and read for the rest of the evening.
When I finally looked up, dadgummit, it was nine o’clock in the evening.
It had not even been six o’clock when we got home, so I spent three hours finishing that book.
There wasn’t much else for me to do, but still, three hours went by fast.

I’ll wrap this up and head to bed.
I think I have one more book checked out.
