Went for a walk, ended up in a sprint πŸƒ‍♀️🐢

I was invaded at 8 p.m.—all four of Raven's littles.
To make sure we’re not accused of being mean to Raven—and yes, that’s what Cowboy has accused Badger and me of—Badger and I remain in our bedrooms.

We don’t leave our bedrooms from Friday to Sunday.
It sounds terrible, especially of me, but after two years of trying it every other way, we’ve learned it’s just easier to turn over the house and disappear.
The house was oddly quiet.
Of course, the first night here, the littles are always subdued, and then they get more rowdy Saturday and Sunday.
He had them to bed at 9:15 p.m., in his room, which—I don’t know how that’s working out.
The last time I was in there, the floor was piled sky-high.
As long as they’re not using my living room as a bedroom, I don’t care what kind of sleeping arrangement they have in there.

There isn’t anything to say about today.
It was just another day like so many others.
We stayed home, did nothing. Cowboy worked.

Oh, well—two little excitements, if you wish to call them that.

We went down to check on the RV cats, and the hose hooked up to the RV was spewing water.
The ground was just mush.
So I yelled for Badger.
She figured out how to turn it off—but something else went wrong, and water started spewing out of the RV itself.
It looked like the waste area.
So we quickly called Heron at work, and he told us there are two turn-offs.
Badger found them—but the hose is still dripping water.

After supper, Badger wanted to take a walk the woodworking shop way.
I knew what she was wanting—she was hoping the beagle was out, and she could get a video of him trailing after us, barking.
Yeah, the beagle was out.
He followed behind us a good ways, barking aggressively.
A man sitting on his porch tried to stop him, and there was a passel of boys yelling at him, but he kept barking and following.
She didn’t get her video—my phone glitched.

So, I came home and here you go:

I think that says it all.

As I said, there isn’t anything else one can say about today.
I’ll head back to the bedroom.
Lady woke me up at 6:30 a.m.—her steroids are making her need to use the bathroom more often.
I’m beyond ready to go to sleep tonight.

  2. Sandra: It really was one doozy of a day. I could do without water spouts and chasing dogs πŸ˜…. Fingers crossed 🀞—so far, so good on the grandkids’ side.
    Hoping your Saturday’s going good.
