I think I’ll keep it short today.
Heron came home from work and kidnapped me and Badger.
To be fair, he did say he was taking us to see a waterfall.
I just thought he was joking.
I ended up in the backseat of his car, sharing space with a drooly dog on awful twisty‑turny curves.Right now I’m carsick.
Between bundling up too much for the cold, all those winding curves, Heron’s air freshener, and my sensitivity to smells, it was a rough ride.
I’m glad he took us.
The waterfall was right off the road, easy to see, and it was gorgeous.
I don’t handle the cold well anymore, so I got out, stretched my legs for a minute, and then sat in the backseat and enjoyed the view.
Maybe this summer he’ll take us back.
The water didn’t look very deep, and I think you could stand right under the waterfall.
It’s something to look forward to.
I’m going to get off here and find some chicken noodle soup and a cup of coffee.
Hopefully that’ll settle my stomach.
It really was a beautiful area to ride through.
Just so curvy.
I mean, this is Tennessee.
All we have is curves.
