Happy “spring” forward! Don’t forget to change the clocks tonight

I'm exhausted, I've not done anything, but I'm still exhausted.

We went to the White Pine Bookstore today.
That store was packed, wall-to-wall with people.
I would guess we were there for about an hour.

They really have no system to their books, and everything is just stacked on top of each other on the shelves.
Badger never did find what she was looking for.
I know for sure we were in the add‑on room for forty minutes.
I finally told her I had to go.
My legs were starting to throb from standing.
Something about that room gives me vertigo every time I’m in there.
She got upset with me, but holy cow, forty minutes of going over the same shelves, knowing they didn’t have what she wanted, was a lot.

We stopped at Walmart to pick up dinner, rotisserie chicken.
Neither Badger nor I felt like cooking today.

We made it home at 2:30 p.m.

We ate dinner when we got home.
Badger retreated to her room, I went to mine, and Cowboy settled in his recliner.
Resting felt pretty good.

Eventually Cowboy headed outside and cleaned the old junker car out.
He stayed out there until it got too dark to see.

Badger and I were quite happy in our rooms.

Once Cowboy came inside, I sat in the living room with him.
He was watching TV, and I was on the computer with my noise‑cancelling headphones on.

I thought it might storm.
It got all dark and stormy‑looking, but it didn’t.
We made it up to 80 degrees, and usually that means storms.

I am going to get off here and head to bed.
