“In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.”

Cowboy didn't set the clocks ahead when he went to bed last night.
He thought they would adjust themselves.

Luckily, Heron woke us up at 8:30 am coming in to take a shower before he went to his girlfriend's house.
If he hadn’t, Cowboy would have missed morning church services.
Even I was sound asleep for once.
Of course, yesterday it would have only been 7:30 am, so I didn’t really sleep in.

I like daylight saving time in that we have more light in the evening, but it seems to make the day fly by faster.
Or maybe I'm just a nut.

Today was chilly and rainy.
It was sixteen degrees cooler today than yesterday.
You could tell it, too.

That's just Tennessee for you.
Sometimes we even go through all four seasons in one day.

My pear tree seems to have flowered overnight, and the neighbor's daffodils suddenly bloomed.
They're pretty to see when we're outside.

I don't seem to have had any flowers survive the winter.
If it wasn't for the pear tree, my yard would still be all dead and brown.

Cowboy went to morning and evening services.
He rarely misses a Sunday.

It was mostly a take‑a‑nap, watch‑TV, play‑on‑the‑computer sort of day.
To be honest, it felt good not doing anything.

While Cowboy was at evening service, the rain finally stopped, and Badger and I took a walk around our block just to get some fresh air and get out of the house.

We came home, and Cowboy got home from church.
We ate supper, and I’ve actually sat in the living room with Cowboy, halfway watching TV.

I'm heading to bed, though.
I want to finish reading my book.
