Wake up determined, go to bed satisfied

Badger and I did manage to get the house cleaned last night.
I lost my picker‑upper, but I went out in the yard and found a sturdy, long stick and used it rather like a fishing pole.

We’d separated the laundry, and believe you me, I have laundry.
I mean, half the living room is covered in it.
We cleaned the living room, hall, bathroom, and master bedroom, then sat down to some supper.

I posted an angry rant on Facebook about how I couldn’t physically do anything right now.
Badger was sick, Cowboy’s back was out, and Peacock was always tomcatting, and the house was disgusting.
I was beyond frustrated.

It feels so sweet to have a healthy heart beat

Other than freaking out and having a major panic attack because Cowboy wasn't allowed with me pre-op the procedure went really quickly and wasn't at all bad.
They medicated me out of my gourd and all I remember was waking up once because I was about to throw up, a side effect of the medication, that passed.
Then I woke up again, turned my head, saw my rib cage on the screen and commented on how cool it was.
