She faced eighth grade again, the second time through,
Challenges and doubters, yet she saw it through.
Teachers may have faltered, rules may have been unkind,
But she met every hurdle with her brilliant, autistic mind.
The ceremony awaited, but we chose not to attend,
Her achievement remained hers, a triumph to defend.
High school’s halls were not for her, no mainstream plan in view,
So we chose homeschooling, a path made just for her too.
Through patience, effort, and courage every day,
She proved her strength and brilliance in her own remarkable way.
Quiet, determined, unshaken, yet endlessly bright,
Her victories shine boldly, a beacon of her light.
