Batten down the hatches! The wind is on a rampage! 🌪️

That wind was just insane, we lost power briefly.
It roared nearly all morning.

It must have been worse where Peacock lives, a limb fell on his roof.
He just got that roof fixed.
At least it's not terribly bad-and no one was hurt.
Probably scared to death, though.

I will admit that I took advantage of the power outage, and told the littles the TV couldn't come back on.
OK, I'm a terrible person.
Zwei took over the TV this weekend, he spent the whole weekend on YouTube watching cat videos and Minecraft.
No one else could watch TV, that included Cowboy.
I can only take so many utterly stupid cat videos before I get cranky-and dumb Minecraft.
How did I manage them not turning it back on?
I flipped the bloody switch off on the surge protector.

Raven took the littles back at 12:40 pm-and he didn't get back until 7 pm.
He had to leave for work at 10:30 pm, I really doubt if he got a bit of sleep.

Heron went to work out at the gym, and then fishing at the duck pond.
He brought two fish home, cooked them up.
He did offer to share, but no, thanks.
I prefer to eat my seafood not knowing where they'd been swimming.

Cowboy went to morning services, but said they were having a Valentine's celebration after evening service, so he just stayed home.

Badger cleaned up for me, oddly enough, the living room wasn't terrible.
The kitchen, on the other hand, was a complete disaster.

I got the bathroom, hall, and my bedroom cleaned up.
Staying in there from Friday to Sunday, my room does get messy.

After that, Badger hid back in her room, Cowboy was snoring happily in the recliner-without getting jumped on-and I've been catching up on the blog-reading-watching TV.
I found this series from the 50s that is more paranormal than sci-fi, but it is very, very close to being like The Twilight Zone.
I can only find it on YouTube, and some shows are not very clear, like well I know one is 63 years old.
It and Cowboy were born in the same year.
That one was really dark and grainy.
I'm enjoying it, one had a really young Cloris Leachman, I don't think I've ever seen her that young.
A young Warren Beatty.
I like paranormal shows, but I do not like horror-there is a difference.

I guess we'll head on to bed, Badger did her laundry today, my laundry day is tomorrow.
