Under the moon's watchful eye, the factory's hum keeps me company. 🌙⚙️” #NightShiftLife

Let's get this typed out as quickly as possible.
Time on the keyboard is very short on the weekends, I usually have to hunt and peck on a tablet-then clean it up Sunday or Monday.

2 am, I checked my tracking app, Cowboy's phone was still at work, so I went to sleep.
And didn't know a thing until Cowboy woke me up at 8 am to go get some muscle cream, he was hurting so bad.
Apparently he sneaked in at 3:30 am, I was dead to the world, and didn't even feel him getting in bed.

He got hurt at work, but I doubt if he reported it.
He was working with a drill, the drill slipped or flipped, hit him in the nose so hard his hard hat flew off.
He said he bled like a stuck pig for a while, but seems to be alright.

He went back to bed, and it was a fight to drag him back out at 9:30 am.
He needs a whole weekend to sleep, and rest, but he won't get that.
He's pulled overtime two nights now, and Wednesday into Thursday was a particularly long shift.

After eating, and taking care of the chickens, we got a later start going to town than we wanted.
We still managed to get back home at 1 pm.
But, after unloading groceries, taking care of the chickens, and eating lunch, Cowboy did not get a nap in.
Time to head back to work came rather fast.

After he left, Badger and I did a sweep of the house, making sure everything was put up or locked away.
I had her put me locks on my desk drawers, I absolutely hate that, but Vier keeps prowling in my drawers.
I have scissors, and cat treats, and who knows what all is stuffed in them.
She probably can unlock them, but I made an effort.

It was 5:30 pm when Raven and crew got back here, Eins stayed at home this weekend.

At 9 pm, I heard everyone in Raven's room

The disadvantage of putting them to bed this early is that they'll be up 5 am, ready for the day.

I took advantage of that, and I am sitting here in the dark.
They are not afraid of the dark, but I still turn the lights off.

Of course, there are no plans for tomorrow.
It will be more staying in my room, out of the way.
