Shadow or Shine, it's Groundhog Time!

Raven and crew left just before 1 pm.
We had gone up to the Dollar Store, met them leaving as we were coming back home.

You know, I can not write about my weekend without going over into things that should not be said, things that any rare reader I may have does not wish to read.

I can't be real🀷🏻‍♀️

I can love the children, but still not want to stay around the children.
I can love the children, but not want to live with the children.

These boys of Raven's have real issues, it is not made up.
I'm not being a mean witch.
These boys have Neurodevelopmental, behavior, and emotional disorders.

They are not neurotypical or “normal”

Our weekends are not full of Hallmark moments, there isn't any craft, and cookie making.
The weekends are spent navigating melt downs, dodging fights, and listening to screaming.

They are children, though.
It's not all bad, there are sweet moments, it's just the bad outweighs the good.

Enough, right?

Peacock was waiting for us when we got to the house.
He brought back the guts of my external hard drive.
I appreciate him making the effort, I mean, he really busted his butt off trying to fix the thing.

Right now, I have no pictures of Badger's baby years or early years.
They are just forever gone, and I have no backups.
I should have been backing up all this time, and just kept putting it off.

I have sent a message to our local computer repair man, in hopes perhaps he can get at least a few pictures off.
If not, well, Badger doesn't exist until around 2017.

She's a total digital baby, I have no hard copies of her life.
All her life was on that broken hard drive.

He didn't stay long.

They called Cowboy in to work, he left at 2:30 pm, he's not wanting to work a full shift, but he won't know until he gets down there.

Badger cleaned the house for me, I tried to just stay out of her way.
She's a cranky cleaner.

Badger sanitized the floors, she mopped normal then steam mopped.
She also Lysoled the whole living room, then she went in and my bathroom sparkles, now.

It was late when she started cleaning, so it was late when she finished.

We've done nothing the rest of the evening, just enjoyed being out of our bedrooms, and the silence.
