My math stinks, but I think that's an 18-hour shift.
He fed the chickens, ate some breakfast, and went to bed.
He didn't wake up until well after 2 pm, and didn't leave for work until 3:30 pm.
All I have to say is that they'd better not have said one word to him about coming in late.
We woke up to more snow, just a small dusting, most of it on the road and sidewalk.
The news was squawking that the roads were very dangerous, very icy, but Cowboy, Raven, and Heron said they had no trouble driving.
Badger has been in her room all day, it's one of those days for her.
Surprisingly I slept very well, usually I don't when Cowboy isn't home.
He had said he'd be home at 3 am-that didn't work out, obviously.
I wasn't worried about Cowboy.
When I remember, I have that tracking app on his phone.
His phone was still at the plant.
That meant more, or likely, he was still at the plant.
I started coughing about 5:30 am, couldn't stop, so I just crawled out of bed, headed to the living room at 6:30 am.
I got to see the snow, it had stopped by 8 am, and was mostly gone by 10 am.
Lack of sleep, and cold medicine is catching up with me, I think.
I'm about to fall asleep on the keyboard.
I believe I will have an early night.
We may go to the store tomorrow.
We just can't make any plans.
