Some calls stop time: Prayers for Our Family During This Difficult Time

My heart is broken.

A cousin called today; my uncle was found dead in bed.
A neighbor called the police to do a welfare check.

I called the police.
They think he probably died up to two days ago. 
I know I sent him a text on Saturday, and he did not answer. 
He always answered.

One of the neighbors said she thought she saw him mowing today.
 But I don’t think they would’ve done a welfare check if he’d actually been seen.
More likely, he passed in his sleep from Friday into early Saturday.

Out of my grandmother's four children, only one remains.

My cousin said my aunt is not doing well. 
She just had heart surgery last year. 
They’re afraid she’ll have another heart attack or stroke. 
She’s already had both. 
They say she keeps crying that she’s all alone now.

We'll go up tomorrow, see what needs to be done.
Aunt is next of kin, so I can't do anything legally.
