3 AM terror: pitch black, crushing weight, loud purrs

Today's Tuesday.
Sometimes you just have to remind yourself what day it is.
We've all been thinking it was Wednesday.
I really don't know why.

This is yet another day I just don't have anything to really write.
As I told Cowboy, every single day is the same around here.

Well, we lost Coyote last night.
I say lost.
But he's learned to crawl up in my mattress.
They dug a doggone hole in my mattress.
So he crawls up in there, and hides, and we can't find him.

Sometime around 3 a.m. my chest suddenly got heavy, in my half asleep dopey way of thinking all I could think was, "Oh crap, am I having a heart attack?!"
Then it was like, wait a minute, hold on, I'm also vibrating and my chest feels fuzzy?
So I pop an eye open and yup, Coyote had crawled out and made himself at home on my chest.
And of course he was purring, that cat never stops purring.

I sleepily hauled myself out of bed and tossed his rear end in the laundry room with the other cats.
We lock the cats in the laundry room at night.
Before anyone thinks how cruel or how mean, they have a pretty large laundry room.
It's where we took the old dining room and the old laundry room, opened it up, and made a laundry room storage room.
So they have a little kingdom back there at night with all their little fuzzy blankies and, well, dog beds, but we'll call them cat beds.

That's about as exciting as my day got.

The rest of the day was just a lot of sleeping, TV, and Lego building.

I think maybe Cowboy mowed the yard or maybe that was yesterday?

Oh, how could I forget?
Cowboy's angel trumpet finally bloomed.
It seems like it blooms later and later every year.
It started out being normal and blooming in July or August, and then it was August and September, and now we're into October.
He loves that plant, but I think it stinks.
I mean, it literally stinks.
Its flowers don't have a pleasant odor.

Now I'm going to head back to the TV.
