We can let the animals be free, and get back to our normal, boring lives.
This weekend wasn't terrible, there were either gone, or outside.
These littles are neurodiverse, so there are always incidents, but not as many this time.
I started cleaning, but there really was not a mess this weekend.
The great thing about warmer weather is that the littles are not inside destroying my house.
Cowboy came back from morning service, took a little nap.
Badger and I had our showers, disgusting or not, you can not shower Friday or Saturday.
As soon as you get in, one of the littles is screaming they need to go, and Drei will just go in the floor 🤷🏻♀️
Badger and I are clean people, this is one of the things we hate the most.
With one bathroom, what are you going to do?
We sure enjoy our Sunday shower, although Badger used all my darn hot water.
No, we're not gross, we take very quick top and tail baths.
And yes, we also restrict using the bathroom.
I'm not sure how healthy it is for us to not go, but I guess on the plus side, I'm up to six hours -if I restrict my liquids-of being able to hold things in.
TMI, I know.
After our showers, and his nap, we headed to East Town Walmart.
Cowboy the cat hater's babies were out of snacks.
For someone who claims to hate cats so badly, he puts up a fuss if he can't give them their morning snack.
Target was next, Badger was trying to find shorts.
They didn't have them.
As we were there-and it was there-we grabbed a coffee from Starbucks.
I was a little disappointed, they did not have my strawberry I've been drooling over.
What do they say?
First world problems?
We finally got to Aldi's, that was the only place we initially said we were going.
I do not care what Cowboy says, Aldi's chicken beats any other stores.
I also picked up Cowboy a cheesecake, he loves them, and I've totally stopped cooking or baking.
It was almost 5 pm when we made it home.
Cowboy had time for a tiny nap before he went to evening service.
I know, he sleeps an awful lot.
I know almost half of the medication he takes has drowsiness as a side effect.
Then he gets home from work anywhere from 1 am to 7 am-he never knows when he goes in what his shift will end up being.
He does not sleep, he goes to the bathroom oh shoot multiple, multiple times a night.
If he's not using the bathroom, then he's in pain, and that keeps him awake.
I do not see how he even does his job, and seeing that he's responsible for fixing boilers, and going into pits to unclog blood and grease, amongst other things, it may even be dangerous.
He just can not retire, we need the insurance the company provides.
Once he made it back from evening service, the rest of the evening proceeded the usual way:TV.
Badger made a very tasty casserole, chicken king ranch.
I didn't hear any complaints from Cowboy.
Heron made it home at 7 pm, he said he never wanted to see another pizza in his life.
Which is too bad, as that is what his bar makes the most of.
He said they made 165 pizzas, there was a race, and just St. Pat's day in general.
Raven got back at 7 pm-and he went to work 9:40 pm.
As Cowboy says, he drives a forklift, and lack of sleep is not good.
OK, so I think I'll head to bed, tomorrow is force oneself to fold clean laundry-yuck.
I managed to get all the weekend laundry up, there wasn't a lot of it for some reason.
