I went to sit at my desk this morning, and the big, hairy, ugly spider scurried behind my pen box.
I asked ChatGPT how long spiders live, and that nasty thing might survive up to two years.
AI doesn’t think it’s venomous, though it hasn’t seen it up close.
Tennessee has the black widow and the brown recluse as the only venomous spiders here.
I’m reasonably sure it’s neither of those.
Still, I wish it hadn’t turned my desk into its apartment.
The veterinarian said it’s okay to crush the pills.
Someone suggested mixing them into liquid and giving it with a syringe.
We’ll try that.
She can’t get better without the medicine.
Badger thought we needed a walk, so we headed to the library at 10:30 a.m.
She gets bored here.
I keep wishing we lived in my hometown.
There’s plenty to do there, all close enough to walk to.
The day went as it usually does, and before I knew it, Cowboy was on his way to work.
Badger went outside to work on her walking stick while I settled in at the computer.
It was a quiet way to finish the afternoon.
Raven finally settled into the recliner to watch TV, staying there until 5:30 p.m.
Then he headed back to his room.
Badger came inside and went to her room.
Later, Badger came into the living room and sat down.
We watched a little TV.
She gets along better with Peacock and Heron than with Raven.
She tends to avoid Raven whenever she can.
I am finishing here and going to bed.
