Man, that felt good.
Badger had an early morning appointment, so we were all up early.
Five people sharing one bathroom is getting harder to juggle.
Someone is always waiting, and patience is running thinner than anyone would like.
Then, on the weekends, we add four more people needing that bathroom.
This morning was a test of patience.
We've never had more than one bathroom.
I think in the years the house had finally settled down to just being three people, I had forgotten what it was like to have so many people needing to get in. Everyone left except for me and Raven.
He went to bed.
I couldn’t work third shift and sleep during the day.
Daylight just makes my body want to be awake and moving.
I sat down at my computer to catch up on blogs, social media, and the news.
The morning moved on.
Cowboy and Badger got back from town.
Heron went to his girlfriend’s house, and the house settled into its usual rhythm until Cowboy left for work.
After Cowboy left, Badger and I headed down to the RV, shut Heron’s cats inside, and turned his heat on.
Then we headed back inside and settled in again.
Badger and I waited for the school crowd to settle before taking a short walk.
We only meant to circle the loop by our house, but the chatty ladies were out again with that beagle they never leash.
Neither of us wanted to risk getting bitten, so we headed toward the church, walked around the cemetery, and ended up at the library.
It turned into a longer walk than we planned.
We came home, and Badger took the dogs out for a little photo shoot.
She's discovered that Lady is surprisingly photogenic.
She came inside, and we settled in with a movie.
I don't know the title, but it was “Jurassic Park” meets the Vietnam War.
Dinosaurs mixed with soldiers in Vietnam.
Totally weird.

Totally weird.
Badger finally got tired of no one locking the bathroom door and a few too many close calls, so she secretly ordered an occupied/ vacant sign, and it came tonight.
She sent a family group chat the picture, and told us to use it.
I told her I doubted if the kids could read yet, but it is red and green, and I think even Vier knows red means stop.
Tomorrow should be another lazy day, but Wednesday means another trip on that doggone interstate.
I really hate the interstate.
