Cowboy had his appointment today.
Surprisingly, the results came back early this evening.
He's pre‑diabetic, so we're going to have to figure out a new diet. Or at least I assume we need to.
If any of you have been through this and have tips, feel free to leave me a comment.
Badger was in one of her moods today, so Cowboy and I just stayed out of her way.
He napped, or pretended to, and I hid out in the bedroom until he left for work.
She didn’t cook, which was fine, but nothing was thawed, so I couldn’t cook either.
Cowboy heated up a can of beef stew and I reheated Sunday’s lasagna.
We’ve noticed that since she started therapy and medication, her moods have gotten a lot harder to live with.
Not every day, but enough that the whole house feels it.
Badger stayed in her room until 7 pm.
Sometimes that’s just how things go.
I cleaned the house and caught up on laundry, read a little, and watched my TV series.
I noticed it was still snowing when I took my stray cat some food.
It’s snowed all day, but it’s not the laying kind, just the pretty kind.
Badger watched a little TV with me but was back in her room by 9 pm.
She’s an adult, and I honestly don’t know what to do about her moods.
Heron also headed to his RV early, so I’m finishing this up and going to watch “Derry.”
A Stephen King–based series is probably not the best thing to watch before bed, but why not.
Badger says Stephen King explains a lot about me.
I was reading him long before I probably should’ve been.
I sort of remember reading “Salem’s Lot” in third or fourth grade.
No plans for tomorrow other than Operation Wash Bedding Day.
Wednesday we’re on the road again, heading to Powell for Badger’s appointment.
I’d said I’d stay home, but she told me no, you always go with me, so I guess I’m going to Powell.
OK, let’s stop yapping and close up.
