Just remember: Every cold day is one step closer to summer

We made it to town.
There was a little bit of snow overnight and the temperatures got below freezing, but nothing stuck this time.
The only place we went was Walmart.

Since weekend visits have started up again, we don’t try to cook from Friday to Sunday, which means fewer groceries.
We made it home at 12:15 pm.

This is just one of those days when I'm writing to keep my days from running together.
Nothing of interest happened.
The day was spent watching TV and reading.

The good news is the time change is coming up fast, about four weeks away.
That will bring more light in the evenings and hopefully encourage us to lace up our sneakers and get back to walking.
Six weeks until spring, so warmer, longer days are ahead.
You can start reading about the evil beagle chasing me and about Badger taking photo shoots with the cows again.

With that, I'm heading to bed.

I'm in the leave it at standard time camp! Nothing here, either. I'm slowly, emphasis on slowly doing some organizing. What happens to us? I used to be the empress of organization. I've been dethroned.
I hope you weekend goes a bit more smoothly.

Sandra: We'll have to agree to disagree on the time, 😉 I like it staying light longer, although waking up to the dark isn’t all that great.

I wish I had the git-up-and-go to do a little organizing. Right now there isn’t room to cuss a cat in my house.

It happens to the best of us. Even people who used to have everything perfectly in order hit a season where it all feels harder. Going slowly is still moving forward, and it absolutely counts.

And thank you — I’m hoping the weekend goes smooth, too.
