Following the trail of falling leaves straight to the library doors

Cowboy is going to the doctor tomorrow, so we had planned on grocery shopping today.
Any other Wednesday, his check would have cleared the bank bright and early that morning.
Today they waited until after 1 p.m. to deposit it.
Let's just say Cowboy wasn't all that happy about waking up early, expecting to go to town and not going.

Badger and I had to walk down to the library.
We use the online library.
I use the Kindle app to read, but I'm not sure what Badger uses.
She went to read one of her books and couldn't get in.
She needed a password, and she wasn't at all happy.
I was still logged in, but I use it on the tablet and she uses it on her phone.
The librarian had to set up a password for her.
I think Badger is back in business.

Badger spent most of the day making a box for her Legos.
She did a pretty good job.

I tackled a few projects today.

My snow toe has been throbbing all day.
Any of y'all have a snow-predicting limb?
I broke that toe when I was pregnant with Badger.
Now, sure enough, if it's going to snow, it starts throbbing.
As far as I know, there isn't any snow predicted for Tennessee.
It has snowed on Halloween before, though.

I think it's time to shut the computer down and go read.
I have a very strange book based on the Arthurian legend.
Of course I'm coming in on book two because there's a six-month wait for book one.
That riles me up.
It never fails.
