Basking in the glow of the winter sun

It felt like spring today, with temperatures in the high sixties.
Badger and I walked down to the creek‑and‑cow‑facing house, and I didn’t even bother with a jacket.
It’s January, so I know it won’t last, but I’m enjoying it while it does.

“October proved a riot to the senses and climaxed those giddy last weeks before Halloween.”

Well, we’ve made it to Friday.
Next Friday is Halloween, and after that we settle into the cold, dark, and dreary months.

Depending on Badger’s mood, we may have a little celebration with Halloween movies and pizza, or just skip the day altogether.
