We made it to 95° today with a feel like temperature in the upper 100's.
Needless to say, none of us ventured outside.
Well Cowboy went down to the garden and picked squash and okra.
He was going to strip some copper, but after being in the garden, he said forget that.
Our hottest part of the day is from 3 pm to 6 pm.
He used to go in at 3 pm; now he's going in at 7 pm.
I doubt that plant is any cooler, though.
Heron was working at the ball stadium; he sent us a picture of the kitchen at the stadium.
I'm not sure how the stadium has their kitchens set up, but where he was cooking, it was 97°.
He came home and escaped into the bathroom.
I'm taking a wild guess and saying he took the longest, coldest shower he could.
We've been cave dwellers.
I keep the curtains shut to block out the sun, and the air conditioner chugs along with the thermostat set at 75°.
It still can't keep the house below 78° until around 10:30 or 11 p.m.
We're keeping the cats out tonight instead of locking them in the laundry room.
The thermometer in the laundry room hit 83° at 10 pm.
Those cats don’t need to be locked up with that temperature.
I still think there are vents in the laundry room that were never properly connected to the HVAC system.
It never heats up back there in winter, and it never cools down in summer.
I don’t have much to share unless you’re interested in hearing about the TV shows we’ve been watching, the number of games of Plinko I’ve played, or the book I’m currently reading, which is about Henry the Eighth's mother.
I'm getting off here.
Badger rented a movie from the '50s, and they were shocked to see a kid committing murder.
Boy, have times changed.
