I was planning on being productive... but then I decided to have a lazy day

 We really didn’t do very much today.

Badger woke up not feeling well, and she was still sore from tumbling down the bank into the creek yesterday.

We decided we’d just take a rest day.

Once Cowboy went to work, we watched two movies until time for bed.

Heron has headed to his RV for the night, and Badger has headed to bed too.

I’ll be getting off of here soon and heading to bed myself.

I’ll tell you a funny first.

Heron was at the door, getting ready to leave. 

Like he does every night he goes, “Come on, dog, let’s go to bed.”

Lady shuts her eyes and pretends to be asleep.

So he whistles, “Come on, Lady, let’s go.”

Lady keeps “sleeping.”

Heron called her a few choice names.

“Well I guess she’s staying with you tonight.”

He heads out the door.

I go in the bedroom to turn the lights on, and I’ll be darned if that sleeping dog didn’t about knock me down getting to my bed before I could.

I sent Heron a picture of her on my bed and he said, “Why that hussy.”

I’m guessing the dog just wanted one night in a big bed, not a tiny RV bed.

And now, I’ll head on to bed.
