Goodbye roaring 20s, hello terrific 30s!

Today was my youngest son's 30th birthday.
That's a little mind-blowing.
My first son turning 30 didn't really affect me much, but when the babies start turning 30, that's like, oh my gosh, I'm getting old!

Heron took his dog and left early and didn't come back until 10:30 p.m.
That's adult kids for you, they really don't want to spend their birthdays at home.

This was one long incredibly boring day.

Cowboy slept in his recliner until around 3 p.m., then puttered in the yard for a bit.

Badger spent most of the day in her room.
She and I did take a little walk to the church and back.
You have to get out of the house occasionally, or you end up feeling like screaming from sheer boredom.

I've mostly been on the computer.
About the only contact I have with humans these days is online.
Of course, I have my tablet for my books and my TV.

It was a very quiet Saturday.

Badger and I ended the day in my room watching our “X Files.”
She used to watch TV with me in there before she got too old.

She really needs to talk to her doctor about the medication she's on.
They make her fall asleep fast and deep.
Deep enough you simply can't get her to rouse up, and that's dangerous if the house catches on fire or someone breaks in.
My personal opinion is that she doesn't need to be on three of them.
Her life, her body.

Anyway, I'll get this typed up and head back to bed.

It's good to hear from you again. Yes, turning 30 is a milestone. My son will be 52 next month!

Sandra: Thanks. I took a little blog break, but I’m glad to be back and to hear from you.
Fifty‑two is a milestone too. Those years really do fly by.
Happy early birthday to your son.
This is the last of my sons to turn thirty, and now it’s the baby’s turn. I’ve got a good while before she hits that one though.
I hope you have a great week.

I want to agree with Sandra. Good to have you back. My sister and I always fret when you're gone too long. We both need our (almost) daily Jane fix!

Pam: Thank you. It means a lot to me that you and your sister enjoy my blog. I appreciate y’all reading. I didn’t mean to worry anybody, I just took a little blog break, but I’m back again.
