This is going to be one of those super quick, just letting you know I’m still alive type of posts.
Absolutely nothing happened today, but I’ve been writing daily since 2002 for the most part and I’ll be doggone if I miss a day.
The wind has been high all day, and as we were walking, it felt like a pair of hands shoving our backs.
We said nope, forget that, and headed back home.
Other than that, nothing to write about.
Some days are like that.
Raven had his kids in bed before nine tonight.
Other than being woken up at the crack of dawn, I’m not complaining.
He’s probably exhausted.
He didn’t even try to sleep after work this morning.
The last time he slept was Thursday night before he went in for his third‑shift job.
He worked all night, stayed up all day, and just kept going.
That works out for me.
I get a little online time, a chance to check out Craigslist and Marketplace.
I have that pool up for sale again; someone told me spring would be the best time to list it.
No bites yet, but I remain hopeful.
Let’s tiptoe back to bed.
Quiet is the key.
No one wants to wake the kids.

My days sound similar to yours.
Sandra: Sometimes the quiet, uneventful days end up being the nicest ones, don't they?
Yes they do.
