I never sleep well when he’s not home, so I mostly catnapped.
I tried to get Raven up and off to work.
He didn’t leave until after 2 a.m.
I dragged myself out of bed at 8 a.m. so Cowboy could sleep without my tossing and turning.
I can’t say that I did anything productive; I mostly sat at the computer and scrolled through Facebook.
Heron got home at 8:30 a.m. and was gone to work by 9 a.m.
The morning crawled along.
Cowboy woke up just before 12 p.m.
With him waking up that late, it didn’t seem like any time before he had to go to work.
After he left, Badger and I took a quick walk up to the wolf-dog house, and then we settled down for another evening of TV watching.
This time of year, there isn’t much else to do.
We’re actually going to bed before 11 tonight.
It’s going to be a very early morning.
The best I can tell, we’re going to West Knoxville.
I’m not thrilled about riding with Cowboy on the interstate, especially in rush hour traffic.
Then Thursday, we’ll be back in rush hour traffic heading to Powell for Cowboy’s appointment.
Badger and I are hoping he’s done in time for us to go out to the Walmart near the doctor’s office
They have different merchandise than our local Walmart, and even East Town Walmart.
I doubt we’ll have time to get a full week of groceries, but we’re hoping to get enough to get us through this possible snow coming in.
If the system hasn’t made an unexpected arrival on Friday, Badger has an appointment in Jefferson City.
I’d stay home for that one, but if she’s out in time, I can go to Food City and pick up a few more groceries.
I’m heading to bed and hoping I can actually sleep through the night.
